Emma Spence, Field Program Manager
Emma is a seasoned field biologist, having conducted research in places spanning from the woods of Ohio, where she grew up, to remote places such as Puerto Williams, Chile (el fin del mundo). Over the past 10 years she has studied species ranging from the Greater Sage Grouse, to trees, to small mammals, and now bats using a variety of field methods! Emma also has a background in population genetics.
